About Us

Nearly 50 years ago, "Robrych" came into existence in the loving hands of my mother, Berry Peberdy. Over the years, she has bred some beautiful Pembrokes and became well-known and respected in the 'dog' world with a reputation for breeding quality, soundness, type & temperament.

My love affair with Pembrokes began back then, at a very tender age. I went onto showing and breeding horses, having my own Welsh Mountain Pony Stud, then got hooked in the dressage world. When not showing my horses, I helped mum at some of the dog shows and at home and also my own 'pet' Corgis to look after.

We were given our first Corgi to show by my mother 14 years ago, Aust Ch Robrych Jasper, and after that, I to was hooked, breeding my first litter 2 years later. With the love and support of my mum, we took over the "Robrych" Corgis, showing, breeding and loving this remarkable breed. Breeding and showing has brought us much enjoyment and we have met some wonderful people though the sale of our puppies and made many friends within the dog world.

Now, with the infusion of bobtails into our line with our sire, Aust Ch Fergwyn Robert Peel, who has consistently produced quality bobtails. His daughter, Aust Ch Robrych Bryte (bobtail) was a lovely quality bitch and had many memorable wins. We have bred two litters from his other daughter, Robrych Rowena, who has also produced bobtails. We are now showing her son, Robrych Iman Impact (sired by Aust Ch Fergwyn Northern Impact) who has won numerous Baby In Group, Minor In Group and Minor In Show awards.
